Picking Hunting Binoculars

Now that we have given you some tips on what to look for in picking out a pair of binoculars let's talk about what type to get for a specific use. As we have already pointed out there are many different uses or reasons to use a pair of binoculars. In this article we are going to talk about hunting binoculars.

For hunting you want something that is compact and lightweight, but you also want something with a good field of vision. Binoculars in the 8X40 or 8X42 range are most commonly recommended. They will give you a good clear field of vision and will also be good in low light conditions. Also keep distance in mind when deciding on which binoculars to buy. If you are hunting longer distances then you might want to consider a 10X power set of binoculars.

If you choose a higher power for the distance remember that it will make the binoculars a little heavier, so you might want to consider a pair that has Image Stabilization. Some other considerations when looking for a new pair of hunting binoculars are water proof or water resistant and the type of prism in the binoculars. Roof prisms or lighter in weight and more durable then porro prisms.

These are just a few things to think about when purchasing a new pair of binoculars for that next hunting trip. We have several different brands and brand names of binoculars that will give you just want you are looking for.
